Took a bunch of trial-and-error, but we managed to get gingerbread to cut consistently on a 20W diode laser.
The real trick is to get the gingerbread thin and precise. I removed the leavening agents from the recipe and rolled it out to exactly 1/8” - once baked it was close to 1/4”
Cutting was slow: 2 passes at 3mm/s, with an Atomstack S20 Pro. We cut out several houses and the sweet westy we mocked up far a friend.
