The file 'Volvo Rear Armrest Drink Holder Insert With Flexible Tabs 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 53.7KB.
The rubber tabs typically rot & break off from the inside of Volvo drink holders, resulting in a loose fit for smaller-diameter drink bottles. Replacing the drink holder tabs on the rear-set armrest normally entails replacing the entire arm rest at a cost exceeding $300 USD before labor (see Volvo 2008-2017 armrest assembly 39828738, 39828738, 39856311, 39862202, or 39807677).
Alternatively, I designed these inserts that simply squeeze in and replace the original broken tabs. (If any part of the old tabs remain, trim them off with an Exacto knife before installing). I glued the replacement insert in place with clear silicone caulk. If you choose not to glue them, the insert can be removed easily for larger-diameter drink containers.
Volvo vehicles with a rear armrest drink holder that this may fit include Volvo V60 2015, V70 2008-2010, XC60 2010-2017, XC70 2008-2014, and perhaps others.
Photo shows my insert (red) installed on one rear-seat drink holder, and the adjacent one with tabs broken off and no insert.
Print with flexible filament such as TPU!
