Summary

I designed this battery terminal cover to protect the terminal from dust, dirt and environmental conditions; although not water proof, it will help to protect the terminal. It was designed for the Volt Bike Outback V1 model but may fit other Volt Bike models with a semi-integrated battery setup. This design is meant to be used with the battery locking mechanism, that way the cover can not just fall out if you decide to transport your bike without the battery and with the cover installed.

Most of the time I keep my battery installed in my bike during the spring, summer and fall months with exception of cold weather and when transporting. The print took about 90 minutes to print in PLA with the print settings shown.

Note there are two options to choose from, they look identical, but on one there is a small angled vent hole in the side of the terminal cover, I made this to help reduce any condensation that may occur because of the cover. The other version is without the vent hole.

Volt Bike Battery Terminal Cover = Without Vent Hole
Volt Bike Battery Terminal Cover With Vent = With Vent Hole
