A lot of folks - especially in California - bought Vogmasks, a particular brand of N95 facemask during the last wildfire season. Initially they seem great for use during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, nearly all of them come with a valve which means that when you breathe out your endanger everyone around you.
This is a cap that you can clip on to the exit valve; I combine this valve cover with taping up the valve inlet on the inside of the mask. IMPORTANT WARNING: I haven't pressure-tested it to make sure it's a perfect fit and you'd be insane to use this in a clinical setting. There's no guarantee that it will stop 100% of breath getting out through the valve.
However, I do think it does a pretty good job of it and its certainly better than wandering around with an exposed valve.
There's a vanilla cap (CapMinimal) which you can print without supports. There's also a cap which you can clip faceplates into if you want to add some visual flair; the cap is 'CapWithClip'; an example faceplate is 'vogClipStormtrooper' and theres a template for the clips in 'faceClipTemplate'.
Stay safe everyone.
