I laid the rack down on it's back to print and used supports. I think cannons can be printed vertically. Will post pics of final assembly.
1-1-19 Update I am printing the cannons vertically with supports (touching table only) and a brim. They clip nicely into the second board on the storage display to hold these in there nicely.
