I wanted something to get my laptop off the desk, so I designed this bracket and holder to put it onto my dual monitor stand. The laptop is vertical behind my screens now and effectively invisible.
Requirements/specifications:
I have a monitor stand with post diameter 35mm.
This is designed specifically to fit a Dell Latitude 5420. The fit is intended to be snug for stability, so if you use it with another laptop then you probably will have to customize the slot.
You will need:
2x bolts, max diameter 4mm, length at least 15mm
2x nuts; this is designed for 8.5mm diameter

Printed in PLA, 3 walls, 30% quarter cubic infill. All parts printed in their standard orientation with tree supports.
