Summary

The best way to store garlic is in a well ventilated space away from the light. This handy storage container provides just that...

At standard scale the Vented Garlic Storage Container will hold a garlic bulb up to 60mm in diameter (Small to Medium bulb... depending on variety and where you live). The standard size design was made small intentionally so it could be printed on any machine... however it can be readily scaled up so multiple bulbs can be stored inside at once (assuming you have a reasonable size build plate).

The Vented Garlic Storage Container has a slightly raised centre in the base and a series of vent holes running around the bottom. The top pat also has four small vents to ensure no condensation can build up in the top area.

This is a simple two part print that provides a practical solution and looks great. Use for your own garlic storage needs but also as a unique gift.

Printing in white will allow some light through but will still greatly reduce the intensity of the light. However, printing in other colours adds colour to your kitchen and will further reduce the amount of light that reaches the garlic stored inside. They look great printed in any color!

Tips: Tips are not expected but are appreciated as they help offset my filament costs as much as anything else. However, as I live outside the USA tips cannot be sent to me via PayPal.Me as that service is not supported in my region and this is beyond Thingverse's control. If you feel like sending a tip please use regular PayPal and send it to [email protected] and, to those who do, thanks in advance!
