The file 'Vardo Caravan 3D Printer Model' is (stl, zip) file type, size is 32.1 MB.
This is my take on a small scale Vardo Caravan. it is approximately 1:48 (1/4) scale and I have designed it to (hopefully) scale up to approx 1:12th.
There are a few configurations. the door can be printed separately or in place using the Wagon Base-Door-stove assy. if printed separately you could use a 0.5mm wire or pin for the hinge, when printed in place you must very carefully and slowly work the hinge to prevent it from breaking as it is only 0.4mm at this scale but it does work. The same applies to the shaft set.
The rear sub frame can be printed in one piece or two separate parts if you want some swivel to the rear wheels.
The wagon also doubles up as a puzzle box as lifting the smoke stack lets the roof slide open.
Everything will click / slide together so nothing is glued (except stove if made separately)
22/03/18 Update. I have re-orientated all of the parts to the optimal print positions and moved the options to a separate zip folder, leaving the preferred print setup. I have also added a file with all of the parts(except the base assy) if your confident enough to print all at the same time. J.C..
Please respect the non commercial licence and happy printing.
