DIY Vacuum bag check valve.
This is something I made in order to store my filament. I attach it on the side of a heavy duty Ziplock bag. Don't forget to put a Silica Gel pack in with your filament. Can have many other uses.
Print one of everything. CAD file included if you want to modify something.
To Install:
1- Use the inside of the Nut as a template in order to mark the size of hole you are to cut in the bag
2- Cut out the hole you just marked.
3- Base is to inserted inside the bag
4- Put threaded area of Base through the hole of the bag you just cut.
5- Install Nut on Base
6- Install Valve onto Base flat side of Valve pointing away from the base
7- Screw in Boss onto Base
To Use:
1- Loosen Boss
2- Vacuum air out
3- Tighten Boss
