This design is for a Glow Ring for Ice Fishing Lures. It is made to mount to a fish finder or flasher anywhere you would like with 2 bolts. Can be retro-fit to a Marcum or Vexilar that already has an arm for the transducer. The "End Arm" Part is where the Glow cup mounts and the transducer cable suspends through.
To make this you will need the following:
1 x Mount Base
1 x Light Body
1 x Switch Base
1 x End Arm
4 x Arm
1 x Switch (
5 x Shoulder Bolt (8mm Body Diameter with M6 Thread, Preferred Recommended)
2 x M4x0.7 x 20mm Socket Head Cap Screw (Mount to Fish Finder, Stainless Recommended)
2 x M6x1.0 x 20mm Socket Head Cap Screw (Glow Cup to End Arm Mount)
2 x M3x0.5 x 30mm Flat Head Screws (Base to Body)
1 x UV Strip Light (Cut to Length, Link Below)
I have had a lot of questions regarding the shoulder bolts and the switch size.
The switch body size is 1/2" x 3/4" and the shoulder bolts are sourced form McMaster-Carr. I used https://www.mcmaster.com/90265A402/ but you can also use https://www.mcmaster.com/97505A129/ as they are cheaper and come in a pack of 10.
Possibly Rubber or Spring Washer between Components for resistance.
