Did the plastic housing on your USB flash drive break or is it just ugly and you want something pretty? Well look no further. This ergonomic design will hold standard sized flash sticks. This model has a reinforced loop and ergonomic grip.
I printed this one in dual color matte filament and it looks pretty flashy…get it?…flashy :)
You can use E600 glue, super glue, or my favorite: JB weld, to adhere your metal flash drive end into this casing. Be sure to glue it in the right way!
The insert hole is made a little loose so that you wont have to sand it or reprint it multiple times to get it to fit in there. However, if you would like it more snug, I suggest scaling down a percentage. Or you can make your own. I made this in Tinkercad using pre made shapes and it was super easy.
If you want to add a keychain ring, you can do this during printing when the model is almost finished and just put it through the loop before it is printed closed. This will be stronger than a jump ring.
