Three different housing for USB ports. I need these for self-soldered USB plugs and cables for heavy loads and device testing (chargers, solar panels, cable testing, etc.). See here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789320
The thin cable version is for approx. 4.5 mm thick cables, the thick for 5.5 mm cables. You can print them with flex filament to have a nice and tight fit (see the two at the bottom of the first picture). If the cables are too thick or you can not remove the mounted connectors, use the split version and glue them together with superglue. I printed all versions in Colorfabb NGEN and NGEN Flex, but will work with any filament. Print them upright as the stl-files are positioned and mount with logo on the top.
Solderable USB ports are available from Panstrong, Confly, and other manufacturers.
Added a case for Female breakout adapters as well. See pictures and STL-files. I don't know from which place I ordered them some time ago.
Enjoy!
