The file 'US Ammo Metal Caisson Sorting Box Inserts HMF 18650 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.2MB.
Hello my 3D-Friends!
I have a lot used 18650 Li-Ion and LiPo batterys. I was locking for a safe fire proof storage for it. I found some cheap new ammo boxes.
If you are from the EU you can order them here: https://hmf.de/products/munitionskoffer-us-ammo-box-metallkiste-hmf-70000-gruen?variant=45057643151626
Dimension according to the manufacturer (Width x Height x Depth):
Or just search for “HMF Ammo Box”. You can also use different ammo boxes. But before printing, I recommend measuring the inside of the box and checking the dimensions in the slicer. If necessary, the size can then be adjusted in the slicer. It's best to just print one layer first and then put it in the box and check whether the size really fits.
Print settings:
Material: You should maybe choose a self-extinguishing Material like Prusament PETG V0
I offer you 8 different types of boxes. For one ammo box you need 2 boxes. BUTTOM means it has a notch at the buttom. TOP means the part that is on top ;)
As you can see on the picture, i sized it perfectly for 18650 cells.
I attached small handles to the sides of the boxes so that the boxes can be removed effortlessly.
