Summary

This is a light activated musical jewelry box. I used this music player (holds about 1 minute of audio) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0845S3QY4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and this power cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VJYC1MC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

The process is fairly straight forward. Print all the pieces. Install the speaker with super glue in the hole on the bottom. Run the power cord through the slot in the back. And use super glue to hold the player and battery in the bottom portion of the box.

The one part some people might struggle with is installing the light sensor. You have to cut the wires and thread them through the hole in the middle of the shelf so the light sensor stays in place. Make sure the light sensor is on top and use a little glue to secure it. Then reattach the light sensor to the player. I used solder but wire nuts will also work.

Then just connect the player to a computer and upload the song you want. You might have to use an audio compress and or crop the song to get the file small enough. Best practice is to just use the refrain or the part of the song that means most to you.
