The file 'Universal Servo Insert Part For Wersy’s Speedy “Red Mini Wing” 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 47.0KB.
The idea came when I didn't find required servo, even on Hobbyking.com site.
After discussion with author of Speedy "Red Mini Wing"
I designed universal insert on basis of original part (with his permission).
Original insert has been imported in OpenSCAD and all walls have been removed.
I added 4 corners to place servo in place with accuracy of 0.1 mm (this is how I can re-engineer original part).
You should copy "Servo_Insert_Plate.stl" and "Servo_Insert.scad" in the same folder.
Edit x1, x2, y1 and y2 parameters for your servo and generate STL file from OpenSCAD.
X coordinates are measured from servo shaft center.
Y coordinates are measured from servo arm center.
Servo_Insert.stl is for illustration purpose only. I don't know model of servo which I used for example. It was taken from broken airplane.
On photo you can see printed part from generated file. Servo could be attached on 2 sided tape, glue or both. Corners just for placing servo in place.
Update 20 January 2016
With permission of Wersy I added his "Parametric Servo Insert modified.scad" file.
You should set 7 parameters of your servo.
You can screw servo to this part. So, you should set 3 perimeters (shells) in slicing software to have something for thread of screw. Rest settings are the same as original part.
Update 21 January 2016
I added "Parametric Servo Insert modified.stl" file for illustration purposes only. You should edit SCAD file and generate your own STL file.
