The file 'Universal RC Plane Canopy 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 168.1KB.
my rc plane (superfly incase you were wondering) had a foam canopy which was really fragile so i designed this. i designed it so it can be used on many different planes
its uses zip ties to go through the foam into the printed rim on the other side
i haven't designed a way to secure the lid on but my plan is to use velcro straps and a zip tie as a hinge, at the moment the lid clips in using a piece of a gift card as a stop, its not too strong though so ill add velcro later
to hold the battery in i just use a piece of foam cut to the shape
the canopy hasn't got any tolerances designed so trim it down in software or sand the edges after you print it
the dimensions are 101 x 40.5 x 170.4 mm
added a solid plate for soft foam planes
added a hook to the solid plate for bungee launches
the holes arent symmetrical (the front one isnt for sure, not sure about the others)
