The file '(Underwater Motor Mount) Cynthia B. Sidewheeler River Boat 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.2MB.
FIRST and foremost, use a wood color PLA, and paint the flat parts later. It's impossible to paint those wooden decks I put it if you skip this part.
Model is approx 28mm, 1:48th scale small sidewheeler paddle wheel boat of the mid 19th century. Namesake is based on the Warner Brothers television series, "Maverick", that has an episode where Bret Maverick and Modesty Blaine end up with shared deeds, along with others for the, "profitable gambling riverboat", the Cynthia B. I won't spoil the story, but it was a great one that inspired me to make this model.
I made the shaft for the 3mm brass rod approx. 3.5mm in diameter, with hope the paddle wheels would freely turn while in the water, being propelled by the motor below.
AMENDMENT: Changed generic font for time period, and style of the South Eastern United States in the mid 19th c. paddlewheel covers have dynamic font lettering on them now, "Fastest boat on the river".
Steam pipes should print with a hollow center to the second deck where I left two square entry points. If you make this double the size (don't double the motor mount size, or hole below hull) to make it 1:24th scale, these holes should be big enough to take a water driven smoke generator to fit in those deliberately wide rectangular second deck cabin areas.
Model is close to 28mm, and could be used as a headquarters, objective, in tabletop gaming. If you decide to do that, trim the paddle wheels so it can serve as a waterline model, flat on the table. Oh yes, I put many thoughts of ways to play, just don't lose your model playing cards.
Would like to attribute rivel, for the unsinkable model boat that I had remixed off of. Without his base model, mine wouldn't have had a boat hull I could trust to not capsize, sink, or other Hollywood disaster movies. His link is here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2531702
Would like to attribute WillemAH for the underwater motor mount, for adding either a battery powered free sail motor, or the playmobil remote control underwater motor. Link for that is here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6529699/files
