The file 'Under Desk Swivel Tray 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 60.5KB.
Under desk swivel tray. Print out the 3 parts, slide the bracket over the drawer tray corner then insert the rod from underneath. Requires 3 x 6G 20mm countersunk screws (or similar) to mount under your desk.
Designed so no supports are needed when printing. I have allowed a little bit of play between swivel bracket and drawer so it is firm but doesn't "stick" when opening. Don't overtighten the screws, but more specifically don't over tighten the screw that holds the rod in place it just needs to be screwed up hand tight.
On first time assembling it will likely be hard to move, so swivel the drawer back and forth several times by hand to bed in the rod with the holder) If you still struggle to get the fit right, print out rod-v2 which is 0.5mm less in diameter.
The whole unit when open is exceptionally sturdy. Tested with 5KG (11 pounds) weight on the drawer. If you want to have it swivel from the left rather than right, simply mirror the STLs in your slicer. If you want it larger, scale all parts to the same percentage.
Good for storing small items (paper clips, staples, usb keys etc) to keep your desk tidy.
