Ultra slim foldable feet for MacBook Air / Pro with ergonomic shape and round platform.

I designed these feet after running quite demanding application on MacBook Air M3 and noticing increased heat level. Main criteria was to keep design curved and sleek yet durable and compact.

Main features:

• ultra slim 3mm profile (just 1mm taller than stock feet), 4mm profile for Pro
• durable double hinge mechanics reinforced with two 33mm steel rods
• extra 24mm elevation of rear laptop area providing much better air circulation
• friction-based lock in collapsed position
• connecting to the laptop by using double-side adhesive placed on stock feet surface
• feet base is self adjusting its angle to the surface, allowing to place objects under feet for extra elevation
• large 33mm diameter of feet base is comfortable enough to hold laptop on your knees
• easy print, no support

Materials needed:

• two standard steel office paperclips, straightened with pliers then cut to 4x 32mm long rods
• 2x circles of strong double-side adhesive foam of 18mm diameter

NOTE: feet are tested with PLA PRO printed in 0.2 resolution and work perfect with my MacBook Air.
I also plan to design more durable 4mm version to use on larger and heavier MacBook Pro.

UPDATE (2024-11-08) : After 3 weeks of actively using prototypes on Macbook Air and Pro I realized that feet are working great when on a table, but are lacking of extra lock in open position when carrying and placing laptops on your laps. I'll be improving design with lock mechanism and hoping to post it here soon.

UPDATE (2024-11-03) : Added composite STL sets with all three parts included for each foot sizing

UPDATE (2024-10-23) : Fixed foot angle and separated parts into three versions:

• 3mm thick with 25mm foot - best fit for MacBook Air
• 4mm thick with 25mm foot - best fit for heavier MacBook Pro
• 4mm thick with 30mm foot - best fit for heavier and larger MacBook Pro
