A chess set of pieces and board. The design idea for the board and pieces is based on the transition between square and circle.
How to print the pieces
The pieces can be printed without any support.
How to print the board
In order to print the bi-color board, I used a trick (that I learned from Devin Montes / Make Anything):
print first the file chessboard_overlap_white.stl (at 0.2mm) This will print only one layer. These are the white squares.
DON'T REMOVE this print from the bed
The two prints are complementary and the result is a single rectangle prism with two colors in the bottom layer.
