This is an OpenSCAD version of my previous Rigid 2020 Corner Brackets, which were optimized to bring as much rigidity as possible at a given size. This takes the idea a step further by making it possible to optimize them for just about any extrusion/screw combination. To customize them, download OpenSCAD or use the Thingiverse Customizer.
Print with the longest side facing down without supports. Rigidity comes mostly from walls and bottoms, so increase those rather than increasing infill. PETG or ABS is better for load bearing parts as PLA slowly deforms under pressure.
Version 1.4 Added support for angles other than 90°. Thanks jamesncarter for most of the implementation! Now also on github
Version 1.3 Added option to elongate screw holes and set screw count per side.
Version 1.21 Added version 1.21 with the option to remove extruder inserts for stabilizing things such as enclosures and made it more customizer friendly.
Version 1.1 Added version 1.1 which features a mode to use these brackets over your existing ones, like the bonus bracket in my Rigid 2020 Corner Brackets. Thanks metallsimon for the idea!
