The file 'Ultimaker 3 Door 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 447.6KB.
I designed this door for my Ultimaker 3. I wanted a door that worked without needing any modifications to my 3D printer. (No drilling/gluing or taping to the machine.) I also wanted a door that sat flush with the front panel to better seal.
The door hinges use existing bolts holding the Ultimaker together. Everything prints without support and is fairly simple in design. The door itself is a 6mm thick 31cm x 31cm square piece of acrylic. The hinges are designed to have this acrylic sit flat and flush with the machine to help seal it. You could use a thinner sheet of acrylic but then it will not sit flat.

6mm (~1/4") Thick 31cm x 31cm acrylic Qty:1, https://www.mcmaster.com/#8560k357
(The McMaster link is a bit expensive. Could probably get it cheaper at a local shop.)
The door needs a latch, which I have not designed yet. For now I just use my GoPro hook to hold it closed. If you like my door design let me know if you have any suggestions for a latch.
Update: The "C" shaped spacer goes between the lower mount and lower door hinge. It helps put the door in the correct place and makes sure it swings open super easy and smooth.
