The file 'UFS-084B Hex Bit – Septagon Handle With Collet 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 691.2KB.
I needed to design a handle for holding a chisel blade with a round shaft. I decided that I would need some type of collet to grip the shaft with a comfortable handle.
I had downloaded one of those simple push drills years ago. It was a terrible drill but the collet worked ok.

Then I went looking for a screwdriver style handle. There are hundreds if not thousands of these on Thingiverse. I wanted one with flat sides maybe a hexagon or octagon shape. I remembered these handles.

I thought they looked fine. In the proces of blending it with the collect, I realized this was a septagon or more commonly called a heptagon shape with seven sides.
I added a little blender magic, resized everything to fit together, and I had my handle. Then I thought this could be modified again to hold hex bits instead of a round shaft.
I turned the round hole into a hex and created the part you see.
I made a second similar handle that you can find here:

Now you just have to add a nice Phillips bit. Lucky for me I have a small box with plenty of these hex bit to turn into screwdrivers.
