Summary

I wanted to have a way to put my UE Boom on my bicycle where I could hear it (instead of a backpack). This is what I came up with.

Modify as you see fit. I make no promises on stability or durability, but it works for me. Use at your own risk, and try to take it easy when you have it mounted. I printed it with ABS, and it "seems" fairly strong, but I haven't tested it thoroughly (trails, major bumps, etc.).

Update:

  1. I've ridden the bike with the mount and speaker for a good few rides. It's taken bumps and turns and seen no problems.

  2. I took a spill on my bike this morning due to a crowded sidewalk and a drop-off. The speaker fell out of the mount, because I only had it in there with earplugs, but the mount didn't take any damage. I recommend finding a way to secure the speaker into the housing if you're going to be doing anything rough.
