The file 'Ubiquiti U6+ Adapter For 1-Gang Low Voltage Bracket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.7KB.
Ubiquiti's wireless access points come with a template for marking/drilling holes for mounting to the ceiling or wall. Use the template if you can. However, in the US it is common for electrical contractors to use low voltage boxes (which are commonly not boxes at all, but brackets with open backs) when running data cable in a commercial or residential building. The problem is that it is not easy to mount the Ubiquiti bracket on one of these "boxes". This adapter is meant to solve that problem.
To use it, you use the standard 6-32 screws that you would use to mount a face plate on the low-voltage "box". The top screw goes through the Ubiquiti bracket and then the big hole of this adapter and is screwed into the top hole of the "box". The bottom screw goes through only the bottom hole of this adapter to secure it to the "box". Then you use a flat head screw to secure the bottom of the Ubiquiti bracket to this adapter using the remaining hole. You can then attach the access point to the Ubiquiti bracket as usual.
