Summary

This was designed to be screwed onto the 40X40 MM laser module of the Two Trees Totem laser engraver. This was inspired by another creator by the name of zdenda91. I liked the idea and although I redesigned in Fusion 360 from scratch I used his concept for the base shape and general shape. The link to zdenda91's design is:

I had three main goals in mind when making this; the first was to keep the airflow unobstructed from the attached fan that is meant to cool the laser module heat sink, second was to try and use that airflow to help in clearing kerf and smoke by creating a cyclonic nonturbulent flow pattern, third was to have the attached hose neatly at a 90 degree angle to the module. I plan to use one of the posted designs floating around to hold the hose in place at the top using the board housing pegs as a mounting point.
This is still being tested and optimized, the simulations for airflow and resistance look promising, but this is still a work in progress. Any ideas or improvements are welcomed, I am listing the STL and F3D files.
