UPDATE: V4 has repaired support interface. This part is notably difficult to print. I will update it as I find issues. Only use support with the single side model!!!
I designed this for a clients server.
This part is designed to house two 2.5" drives in a single 3.5" bay standard.
IF NECESSARY, the mount holes can be hogged out carefully. The 3.5" holes are undersized to ensure self-threading.
I have included a single side option for those who wish to hang the drives by one side. This is safe if the system is immobilized. I would not recommend this option for machines that will be on train rides, thrown down mountainsides, or tagging along for skydiving trips.
This will be a fairly tight fitting part, designed to be printed with rigid material (PLA, ABS).
CAUTION: Some thermoplastics have high static discharge characteristics. It is up to YOU to assure that ESD does not cause an issue while installing.
