Summary

The third in my series of "Turbo Jet" rockets and probably the best flying of the bunch.

This rocket uses a Pringles can for the main body tube and a piece of 24mm body tube for the motor tube. You'll also need a parachute (18" or so) and some shock cord (I use kevlar line).

Cut the 24mm body tube to 95mm to use as a motor tube. That will accommodate up to an Estes D size motor. There are two retainers for this model. The "ES" version works with Estes black powder motors and the "AT" version works with Aerotech composite motors (with the built in thrust ring).

I've provided two open rocket (ORK) files depending on length of body tube. One uses a full body tube but the version I made was with a shorter length. Print everything but the nose first and use these files to get the weight of the body components correct. Then you can figure out the weight the nose needs to be for a good CG and print with the proper infill.
