The file 'TTm 1000mm Narrow Gauge Weed Control SHE 1 (Project Blümchentod) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 28.8MB.
Just in case - the H0m-Version is here.
Do you know The Death of Rats than the name (Little) Flower Death should explain the project name Blümchentod.
Like the cars 99-72-02, 99-72-03, and 99-03-45 this special purpose vehicle was build from a former self unloading car of the South Harz Railway Company (Südharz-Eisenbahn, SHE). The original number is unknown - somewhere between 267-270, 272-273 or 275-279 [1, p. 33]. It got the number SHE 1, when rebuilt.
I think the best known and most published picture is from Spühr to be found her: [2], [3, p. 60], [6, p. 201]
The sketch in [1, p36] contains contradictions compared to the known photos on [6], [7]. Special thanks for showing me the picture captured by Dieter Höltge picturing the unknown side and a quick reference to [2] showing the tank from below.
I printed the frame (main) part flipped 135° and the tank and platform 45° on Y axis in ABS like resin.
Support the parts with stable supports with fine tips, I used a lot medium supports with 0,26mm tips in Lychee.
I would add some weight to the tank and glue it and the platform with resin. The platform floor is made from a sheet of steel, so close the gap.
The wheel bearings are made according to NEM but the material is a little stiff. If you use standard 14,5mm N gauge axles with 5,6mm wheels, you may cut the cones a little deeper with a 60° drill.
I didn't cut the threaded hole a the platform, this car is always the last wagon, so a coupling isn't needed a the end but I prepared the M2,5 thread. Use couplings, I provided here. The car was equipped with spoke wheels, maybe these wheels will help you.
I would paint this car in dark grey and rust, like it is show here [5]
The design is based on sources listed below. If your looking for online pictures, I'd recommend sources [4] and [7]. I don't want any commercial use of this design and prints.
You are free to print my work for your projects, close friends and maybe your model railway club. Please post your makes.
If you are representing a model or railway club, a school or something comparable with these and want to use it for educational purposes in higher numbers, please tell me.
