Trollveggen (Troll Wall) is the tallest vertical rock face in Europe. It's popular with climbers and base jumpers alike.
While searching for accurate, real-world terrain models, I found the site "Terrafab". This amazing website lets you draw a box around any piece of land in Norway and generate a 3D terrain model for that area. You can either get that model printed in full color or --and this is the amazing part-- you can just download the model for free! Guys at Terrafab, if you're reading this, THANK YOU! It's a wonderful service and there are some really neat geological features to explore in Norway (like Trollveggen and Galdhopiggen).
So folks, if you have a chance, check out: http://terrafab.bengler.no/
If anyone knows of a similar service that covers other parts of the world, or any good way of generating 3D terrain models of real places, please share in the comments section. Thanks!
