After making the original version of this to manage USB extension cable ends on my printer, it occurred to me that it would work for securing the ends of cable disconnects for trickle chargers.

We keep our garden tractor and a motorcycle on trickle charge at all times they are not being used so as to help extend the battery life, particularly in colder weather.
The charger cables are permanently wired in for convenience, but the connectors were merely tie-wrapped to adhesive tie blocks and were not all that secure.

This is basically the same set of parts that I made for the 20x20 rail setup on my printer however it has no back rib on the base plate.
In this manner it can be mounted flush to a surface.

As you can see in the photo, it is a nearly perfect fit for the cable end and makes it super easy to connect and disconnect the charger block.

This should be useful for almost any vehicle that has a trickle charger setup with a disconnect as shown, I would think.

Notice the disconnect plugs on the cable ends which are common "SAE" two pin connectors.
There are many different variants on this, all sharing the same basic connectors.

I have also used this one and it works OK, but I like the one listed above better.

Either one of them will work with this holder nicely and virtually any connector that is the standard SAE profile should fit.
