The file 'Treasure Inside – Impossible Easter Egg 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 181.8KB.
This treasure egg puzzle will really add to the Easter Egg Hunt fun! This apparently impossible egg remix has a coin compartment inside that will fit two coins up to 31mm in diameter (US 50 Cent piece) or up to 3 smaller coins (US quarter). Or it can also fit a bill folded square. Coins are a lot more fun.
Kids will know there is something in there and just have to figure out how to open it.
In this case I have uploaded just an assembly of the 4 parts instead of the individual parts. Too big a chance the wrong parts will be duplicated. If two of the parts with the coin compartment are printed there is a risk that an object shifting inside could lock the puzzle together.
Update: Cura 15.04.6 can split the assembly and allow you to print one part at a time. I have since uploaded the individual parts for easier printing on smaller printers. The titles have the number of times they are to be printed for a complete egg puzzle. Pay attention to what you are loading in your slicer.
Since there are no flat surfaces to use as supports this is a little harder to align and put together when compared to the cube version. Pinching the pieces together across the flat inside faces helps maintain an alignment so the pieces can be moved into place. See the picture sequence. Once aligned as shown in the first picture simply squeeze all four parts together at the same time.
