This is a remix of silverbullet126's Traxxas Rally FPV mounting kit. Instead of the DJI air unit, I decided to adapt his great design to analog using this FPV camera and transmitter kit:

You can use washers like I did, but I would recommend using the 3D printed backplate washers I deisgned to fit inside the slash or lexon body of your rc car.
(also I tilted the camera a tad bit down before screwing down all the way, and the transmitter gets very hot, so I added a small heatsink, which still wasn't enough. I am making a new verison of this transmitter bracket that holds a fan.)
Hardware needed:
-M2 x 8mm (2 for camera)
-M5 x ~10-15mm (4 for bracket mount)
-M5 bolts
-M3 - M5 washers (if not using printed backplates)
-M3 nuts
-M3 x ~10-15mm (2 for transmitter mount)
You can adapt the transmitter to get power from main slash battery, but I decided just to add a small 600mah 3s battery to the body mounted with velcro, so no wires to deal with when taking off body
