Designed and built a quick camera mount to do FPV with my Traxxas Slash. It turned out well I think. Friction fit in the front bumper. I increased the center hole size a bit with a dremmel to get it out of the way of the camera. Works great using a 200mw analog FPV setup.
I strongly suggest TPU, PLA/PETG are too brittle for that mounting point. TPU works great.
Added a second version with a small clip to add some grip on the bottom and a few more photos. Just a simple boost convert brings the 6v from the speed controller up to 10v for the 200mw 5.8GHz transmitter I am using. I am driving the camera directly from the 6v.
Supports on bottom plate only works fine.
