Summary

This is the fourth and final iteration of paddle tires for my and my sons' Traxxas Rustler 2x4 and 4x4 trucks. These paddle sleeves (as I call them) are compatible with the rims here which cam be printed in PLA, and are very durable.

Here is the third iteraion which were pretty good, but the paddles were still a bit thick, and just a bit too big for the really fine sand a a couple of beaches near me.

Here is the second iteration that were too small, and to be honest- the paddle geometry was wrong.

Here is the first iteration They worked, but they flung sand and rocks waaay too far. The paddle geometry was also wrong (as far as I am concerned).

This design reduced the paddle thickness, made them just a bit smaller than the 003 iteration, and changed the geometry to stop flinging sand so high into the air, but still make a nice rooster-tail. Plus, you can hydroplane with them (we both have VXL trucks, and I am not sure, but I bet you need the brushless power to make that happen)

Here are the 0.85" wide "Pizza Cutter" style narrow front tires for 2WD trucks.

Here is the Rustler VXL 4x4 hydroplaning across a puddle with these paddle tires
