The mounting points for front shocks on Traxxas Slash 4x4 are definitely to high. These adapters increase front suspension droop, thus improving handling and landing jumps.
You'll need extra screws to fix adapters to the front shock tower:
You can print these parts from PLA or PETG for testing purposes, however they will break down soon. For better experience print from composite filament, e.g. glass-filled nylon.
The holes should be drilled with 2.5mm (lower) and 3.0mm (upper) drill bits.
And don't forget to adjust the riding height after installation.
