The file 'Travel Case For Henson AL13 Safety Razor 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 17.5MB.
The professionally designed travel/storage case for the Henson AL13 safety razor is a sleek and innovative solution for safely transporting and storing your razor and blades. Designed with precision and attention to detail, this clamshell-style case offers both functionality and style.
The case is a print-in-place design that doesn't require supports or post-processing. With a clean, minimalist design, and professional appearance, its compact size makes it perfect for travel, fitting easily into a toiletry bag or suitcase while keeping your razor protected from damage.
The safety razor components are held securely in place when closed, preventing them from shifting or becoming damaged during transport. This case also includes a compartment for storing a small box of 5 DE blades. This compartment is seamlessly integrated into the interior of the case lid, providing a convenient and secure storage solution for your blades.
One of the most innovative aspects of this case is our very own design of the first ever fully functional print-in-place vertical hinges. These hinges are printed directly onto the case in a vertical direction, at different heights taking full advantage of the horizontal layer strength and at the same time retaining a higher tolerance. This unique design allows the case to open and close smoothly while still providing maximum strength and durability. Additionally, the case is designed to be versatile, with the ability to stand on its bottom, sides, or front.
Overall, this professionally designed travel/storage case for the Henson AL13 safety razor combines functionality, durability, and style, providing a premium solution for keeping your razor safe and secure while on the go.
Printing notes:
The case was designed to be printed on its side and in the orientation the file was uploaded. Due to our unique print-in-place vertical hinge design, it is important that you keep the Z-Seams away from the hinges for proper function. When printing is complete, the case will appear to be stuck in its half-closed position. To activate the hinge function, simply force it open or close. After that, the case will open and close smoothly and with zero play on the hinges. The case latch will be fairly tight at first but will loosen up to a more normal open/close operation after some use. Please post your makes. Enjoy
This is an easy-to-print design that doesn't require supports when printing, but due to its tight tolerances, a well-calibrated printer is highly recommended.
