Description
Combine your old spark plugs, a few wall anchors, some spare wire, and a bit of PLA and you can make your own power grid for the tabletop! I designed these intending for a space marine to fit beneath them easily, although how you setup your wires can change that.
Inspiration
Replaced the spark plugs on my Subaru (5/16") around the same time I read the build-your-own terrain section of the Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader reprint. The part about turning trash and old electronics into terrain pieces inspired this design and my last one with the HID bulbs. I wasn't quite sure how to turn spark plugs into terrain, but then the concrete screw anchors came with a separate purchase and the inspiration struck.
Non-printed bits
A 5/16" spark plug should fit into the base like a glove (although I've only tried the plugs from my Subaru, specifically Iridium NGK plugs). The wall anchors have about a 6mm opening and fit quite snug. I had to twist them a bit to get them on. If your anchors are a different size, a bit of filing should make it fit the nubbins.
Print settings
0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle, brim with 8 line count. Without the brim, the legs are a bit unstable and may fall over.
