This 3D model is a cover for the transcend 200 dash camera, this model of dash camera has a silver coat around the lens this 3D model is designed to eliminate that shine.
It is as simple as sliding on to the dash camera.
I made this because before I owned a 3D printer I covered up the silver so that the dashcam was less visibile to potential thieves. Originaly i used black electrical tape which left a horrible sticky residue and constantly peeled of during hot weather so this is a perfect solution!
The print settings that I used are as follows.
Layer height - 0.2 mm
First layer height -0.32
Infill % - 5%
Infill pattern - Honeycomb
Support material overhang threshold - Support material disabled.
Support material pattern - Support material disabled.
Extruder Temperature - 195 degrees (I have used PLA so modify these settings if using ABS or another material.)
Bed temperature - 35 degrees (I have used PLA so modify these settings if using ABS or another material.)
