This is a Tram Gauge very useful for autobody repair the only problem is an off the shelf one can start at 90 buck! for a small one! and at the end of the day even the 150-200$ ones are just a metal or plastic bar with 2 sliders. so not wanting to spend that kind of money I made my own for around 20-25 bucks using hardware store parts that anyone can easily get.
This model fits M6 nuts and bolts a 5mm rod and a 19mm Steel Square Tube. I would recommend printing in PETG although PLA should be fine if it doesn't get to hot.
None 3d printed items you will need:
4x m6 nuts.
4x m6 bolts (min 10mm long)
2x 5mm rod (or one long one cut down the middle)
1x 3/4 inch/.75 inch/19.050 mm Steel Square Tube
(how ever long you would like I went with 4feet)
you will also need a tape measure and some super glue for the bolt caps
