Not sure what made me decide to actually create this, but I went ahead and did it anyway. This is a birdhouse designed to look like a traffic light. Each light can be printed individually, and the faces snap into the housings. So you can print out 3 faces in different colors and 3 housings and attach them together using either the printable links provided or s-hooks if you have them available. Or you can screw them into a post or tree using #10 wood screws. The houses have 3 holes on the sides for ventilation and a hole in the bottom for drainage of water. No perch because they are dangerous for most songbirds that would use the house (predatorial birds would land on it to snatch the eggs or chicks)
I also designed a small housing that can hold an LED and a CR2032 battery to light up the face. The LED housing snaps into the face. The face is thinned out there to let the light shine through and the LED housing is extra thick to prevent the light from entering the house. You don't need to print that part if you don't plan on using it.
Let me know what you think and thanks for reading!
