Two of these clips are needed to hold the plastic cover / splash shield to the front subframe. They attach to the two holes in the subframe, and then screws are tightened to get the clip to expand and lock in place.
These like to fall apart over the years, but the rear kicker is their price! 20+ CAD from the dealer! I'm surprised an aftermarket replacement doesn't exist, which is why I created this.
