This gear is a direct replacement for the brittle nylon gear found in the VG40 Toyota Century window motor. When it breaks the window may have limited range of motion or be completely stuck. I designed this gear based on OEM structure but with increased height, larger diameter, and slight gear pitch. This enables better engagement and tighter tolerance to the worm gear, resulting in smooth and reliable window operation.
