This is a very specific design for an old toy phone. But I wanted to post it anyway to show the results of printing in two different orientations.
I wanted to print the holder at an angle (as shown on the left) because it meant I wouldn't need any supports. But, I didn't expect it to work. For some reason, I really expected the text to fail. So I also printed it lying flat, adding supports under the hook.
Wow, was I surprised! They both worked, but the one printed at an angle looks much nicer! It doesn't have that "top layer" finish. It just looks more refined to me. Needless to say, that's the one we used. We just stuck it to the side of a toy hutch with a command strip.
