This thing takes a multi-bar towel rack and keeps the bars spread apart so that a wet towel will dry faster. The towel rack has a vertical (center-to-center) bar spacing of 1 1/3 inches and bar diameter of 15/32 inches. The thing has a clip on each end to hold each of two bars at an angle of 30 degrees.
The thing is in the shape of a conical helix. The helix provides for the appropriate angles of the clips. The conical part allows the things to be chained together without interference with each other. With 4 bars and 3 things, total angle between the outer bars is 90 degrees.
