Summary

Mounting supports for 0.5" toroidal cores e.g. T50/FT50, and Epcos/TDK B82111E series axial VHF chokes that I use in my HF amplifiers and bias tees.

The toroid mounts allow for transformer or choke wire windings covering 180 degrees or 270 degrees of the circumference. The spacing between the legs fits around PCB holes on a 0.4" by 0.2" grid. A drop of superglue holds the core in the mount and another fixes the mount to the PCB.

The VHF choke support allows the axial leads to be bent 90 degrees without using bending pliers which can damage the inductor wire joint. It supports the choke body approximately 3.5mm above the PCB to reduce stray capacitance. The length is 30.48mm/1.2" allowing for a 0.1" mounting grid that meets the minimum lead bending pitch.
