UPDATE: Versions 2 and 3. Version 1 removed.... it wasn't sturdy enough.

This should fit any printer with a top rail having a T-slot.

The new versions mount on top of the top bar using M4 screws and T-slot nuts. The LED rail is the same. The mounting brackets now do not cover the LED at any point, and are wide enough and strong enough that the LED bar may be mounted with a single bracket if desired.

Version 2 is a double-ended bracket, made so that an LED bar can be mounted both in front of and behind the top bar at a fixed distance. The length was chosen to put the light source a bit forward of the print head so the full forward bed is illuminated.

Version 3 is a single-ended version, with multiple mounting holes, so the distance from the top bar to the LED rail can be adjusted. If LEDs for both front and back are desired, simply lay one bracket on the other and bolt them both down.

I do recommend using support under the hooks of the brackets.

The same LED mounting strip is used.

You can run a separate power wire pair to the power supply terminals, but I used a couple of wire taps and hooked into the existing wires for the gantry light. Wiring and installation is similar to the gantry mount light rail, but a bit simpler since the wire doesn't have to move. (NOTE: The wiring is not yet complete in the photos. These aren't wireless!)

The arm brackets were mounted using M4 screws. The mounting plates are 5mm thick, so M4x10mm screws with T-slot nuts should work fine.

The LED strips are available from many sources. The one I used is here:

The strip is 5 meters long, and can be cut in certain spots. The strip bar as designed used 3 segments. Solder the power wires to the copper pads on the ends.
