UPDATE : New 1.1 (basic and holder). Reinforced back, the Holder one goes with the Insta360go mount on top. You'll need a M2 14-16mm screw to secure the adjustable mount.

Please note that the Insta360go mount comes in 2 parts. The holder itself and an optional slide on cap to secure furthermore the cam on the holder.

The PicklePod2 is made for Toothpick style micro quadcopters and comes in different variants.

You can use this on frames such PicklePick, Kabab's TP3, RacerX TWIG and many other whoop based setups.

Specs & infos

Starting from a very basic & light one to a full featured with all sorts of antenna mounts (crossfire, 2.4Ghz, vtx).

It is a redesign of my OG Pickle Canopy with the following goals in mind

  • wider, taller and thicker (1.3mm) to be more adapted to 3 inch setups
  • 2 camera hole sets (short long lens cam)
  • wire cutouts on the sides
  • a slot in the nose allows to use a small nut

The canopy is compatible with most of (all) nano 14x14mm cameras with screw mounts,
eg : Caddx EOS2, Runcam Nano 2, Runcam Nano Racer, Foxeer Predator nano, probably Nano HD cams as well, etc.

To use it simply stick it on the top of the screws holding the 26 mm x 26 mm FC
board(s). No nuts needed, it's a press fit design and yes it even fits the Diatone GTB/Cube micros :)

Note : This design is made with the Toothpick/micro quad community and uses a lot of feedbacks from people as David Pearce, FaebuFPV, Reinhard Plietsch, Joël Jonke, etc. that i'd like to thank a lot for the time and dedication spent to make this pod way better.

Here are the different versions :

  • BASIC : the simplest and lightest version (2g approx.)
  • CRSF : Small ears with holes to pass a crossfire trimmed antenna (called also a Faebu Mount ;) )
  • 24G : 2 side tubes to pass 2.4GHz antennas and use small RC tubes to hold them up.
  • *_VTX : crossfire or 2.4G + vtx mount
  • FULL : have all the mounting options (antennas, vtx). Obviously the heaviest version
