I needed a small toolbox and tools as accessories for one of my projects and found the excellent Toolbox and tools 1:18 scale by Enely. It's just what I needed, but unfortunately I found it impossible to remove the support material from inside the toolbox without breaking the handle. I also needed a closed version of the toolbox.
Fortunately the original design consisted of separate fragments, so it was easy to 'Separate by loose parts' in Blender, extract the handle as a separate part and also reconfigure the model to give a closed variant. I modified the handle so it could be printed lying on its side. It's much easier to remove the support material from inside the open version, then glue the handle in place.
Both versions of the toolbox will need to be printed with supports.
Also included are a club hammer and ball-pein hammer. The other tools in the photo are taken directly from Enely's original design. The ball-pein hammer head is a scaled down and reworked version of this design by Marchogwyn. The hammer parts should be printed with the lowest possible layer height. I printed the hammer handles in two pieces using wood PLA, epoxied the halves together and then glued them into the hammer heads.
