The file 'Tool Carousel With Empty Filament Roll 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.7MB.
What to do with empty filament rolls? I made this rotating tool-carousel. By the way I wonder why most of this rolls are made of plastic and not carton? Wasted resources!
I used a empty Formfutura-roll with inner diameter of about 53mm. For the stand I made two versions, one is thinner (not tested this one). There is some storage for bits and other small parts.
Drill holes in the roll as you need it, different diameter above and down.
You need a ball bearing 608ZZ, M8 threaded rod, nuts (secure) and washers. In the under part you can press-in two bearings but one is enough.
Another idea is the hanging version, you don't need the stand but something like a shelf board next your workspace, where you can drill a hole for the rod.
No further blabla, see the photos for better understanding.
